Sekushi
Sushi roll and 12- and 18-piece sashimi of assorted fish are among the main menu items you’ll find at Sekushi, known officially as Sekushi On the Beach. This is a sushi/dumpling/noodle bar found at 524 Mandalay Avenue in Clearwater Beach. With a 4.0 rating on TripAdvisor, Sekushi is a small restaurant big on service and fresh sushi. The interior is industrial-style and the atmosphere is laid-back. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The sushi typically gets rave reviews, as do the ramen bowls. Sekushi is open from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and noon – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Ocean Hai

Located inside the Wyndham Grand Hotel in Clearwater Beach, Ocean Hai delivers a blend of Asian-fusion cuisine and fresh seafood in this oceanfront dining experience. All seafood is fresh-caught and locally sourced.
The sushi menu has seven selections that include Sunrise Roll (Spicy Tuna, jalapeno, bell pepper, mint, salmon belly, Thai chili, ponzu, and Tempura Crunch) and Volcano Roll (Snow crab, avocado, asparagus, spicy mayo, kabayaki, Wasabi crumble, and dynamite mix).
The Sushi Boat for Two consists of two signature rolls, four pieces of nigiri, eight pieces of sashimi, and seaweed salad. Ocean Hai serves dinner every day from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Sushi Tu
Sushi Tu at 288 Windward Passage in Clearwater is pretty much “all things sushi.” The menu contains sushi and sashimi dishes such as salmon, tuna, squid, sweet shrimp, octopus, conch, surf clam, and saba (mackerel). There are also sushi bowls, makimono, and signature rolls. Pair your sushi with signature sakes, white or red wines, beers, seltzers, or soft drinks. Delivery and to-go orders are available. You can call in, pick up, or eat in from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.
Hot Sake
At Hot Sake Sushi and Asian Restaurant, you can indulge in the sushi bar appetizer before ordering a wide range of sushi and sashimi rolls including sea bass, fluke, white tuna, eel, crab, egg, red clam, and scallop. Sushi entrees are 8-, 10-, 12-, 18-, and 30-piece assortments of raw fish and sushi. These are available as platters or combos. You can also choose the omakase (chef’s special sushi). The menu also offers hibachi entrees and classic rolls. Hot Sake is on Poinsettia Avenue in Clearwater Beach and operates Sunday – Thursday from 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Umai Cafe

Located near the Clearwater Historical Society Museum at 601 S. Fort Harrison Avenue, Umai Café offers a sushi bar lunch with over 20 types of rolls, such as tuna, yellowtail, eel avocado cucumber, shrimp mango, salmon skin, and sweet potato. There are also sushi bar appetizers and sushi and sashimi rolls and entrees featuring sea urchin, scallop, albacore tuna, fatty tuna, and platters and boats containing up to 15 pieces of sushi and raw fish. The sushi & sashimi combo delivers five pieces of sushi, 10 pieces of sashimi, and one tuna roll.
Umai Café opens at 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. from Monday – Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are 12:45 p.m. – 10 p.m.
